18 months and 3.5 Years and Videos

She is 29.75 inches, 21 lbs 2 oz, Pulse ox was at 84

  • Clothes Size:  12 month and 18 month
  • size 3 diaper
  • Shoe size:  5W
  • She only gets one nap a day that lasts for 1-2 hours.
  • Has lots of teeth...I haven't really counted them.  She's getting some new ones in, but we're lucky that new teeth don't seem to bother her much.
  • We had our last Synagis shot in March.  I'm so glad that is over with and she didn't get RSV.  I think the warm weather helped a lot.  She has been doing great, but she seems to get a lot of ear infections.  We cancelled our TEFRA in late April.  I'm so glad that we were able to decide that we don't need that anymore.  I'm always looking for blogs with people with her same condition.  There aren't very many.  However, out of all of them she appears to be the healthiest having only had one surgery without any complications.  I'm not looking forward to when she is 2-3 and will need another surgery.
Here's a video of her doing her sign language.  I was trying to get her to say stuff, but she was whispering it....  but still a great video of her actually doing all the signs :)

David is 3.5 Years old...
He is 39 inches tall and 31.4 lbs
  • Clothes Size:  3T... He's quite skinny so he's probably going to be wearing his shorts from last summer because a lot of the 3T shorts that I got him are falling off when he walks.
  • No diapers.  Still wears pull ups at night.
  • Shoe Size: 9XW
  • Takes 1 nap at daycare that last 1-3 hours.  We try to make him take naps or at least be quiet in his room when Kayla is napping on the weekends.  When he does take naps, they are usually 2 hours long.
  • Drinks organic milk...2% or whole...whatever I randomly put in his cup.  :)  I stopped giving him soy milk when I started Kayla on milk...  I don't think he even really noticed the difference.
  • I recently signed him up to play soccer at preschool.  He's very excited about it.
  • He loves picking out a toy for show and tell Friday.  Although, he mostly picks out a vehicle from his Cars collection.  A lot of times it is Lightning McQueen or Mack Hauler
  • I let him watch 3o minutes of TV a day after I pick him up after preschool.  This time lets me feed Kayla.  We have netflix, so he picks out the show he wants.  He usually picks Mighty Machines or the history channel documentary on Monster Trucks.  Every once in a while he will choose to watch Busytown Mysteries, Backyardigans, Blues Clues, Dora, or wonder pets.  He hasn't really been that into Thomas the Train anymore.
  • His favorite movie is Cars 1.  Sometimes he'll watch Cars 2.  He likes to tell us about Cars 1 and Cars 2 and make comparisons and list off all the cars.

So excited about her toothbrush.  She knew exactly what to do with it because she watches her brother use one all the time.
